Frequently asked questions: (FAQs):
Will there be transportation, food, or a nurse? No transportation will be provided. Students must bring their own healthy snack and a refillable water bottle. There will be no nurse available.
What if our summer plans change and our student cannot attend either session? If you already registered your student, send an email before July 15 to Ms. Carter and Ms. Harris, and we will remove your student’s registration. NOTE: MMS PTA will be hosting Matador Days where campus tours and information will be available. PTA will post those dates later this summer. This is an alternative for your student if he/she cannot make it to Transition Camp.
What if we signed up for a session but need to switch to the other date? Send an email to Ms. Carter and Ms. Harris, and we will make the change, but we must receive your request BEFORE July 15.
Can my student just show up and attend without registering? No. All students must be registered in advance so that we can safely ensure enough staff and space to serve all students.
What should my student bring? A healthy snack and a refillable water bottle. No large backpacks and no electronics are permitted. Cell phones must remain in pockets or small bags until 12:30 p.m.
